Fabulous Fall Foliage!
Best Fall Foliage Photo Contest
It’s autumn in the Old Dominion, which means fiery reds, golden yellows and glorious shades of orange as far as the eye can see. From the luscious landscapes of the Shenandoah Valley to city blocks with leaves piled high, fall in Virginia is a beautiful thing to behold. But this magnificent transition from summer to winter won’t last forever, so we want you to get out there and capture the colors with your camera.
We’re holding a Fall Foliage Photo Contest, inviting you to send us your snaps of the leaves as they explode with color before disappearing until spring. You don’t need to be a pro to enter; you don’t even have to leave your back yard. The beauty of fall is that a single leaf in your garden can capture the season just as well as an entire mountain range. So grab your camera, photograph that foliage and send us your best shot!
Entering the contest is easy. Just click the link above, then click the “Submit Your Photo” tab. We’ll accept entries through November 22nd, then we’ll ask visitors to vote for their favorite fall foliage image. Voting begins November 23rd and we’ll announce a winner December 7th.
The photo receiving the most votes will earn not only the title of Virginia Living’s Fall Foliage Photo Contest winner, but will also win a one-year subscription to the magazine and a tote bag full of Virginia Living goodies!
